We've enhanced our verification process.

We pause public access while we run every rule through an enhanced verification process to check the AI's formulation of the rule summary of each rule of law against primary and secondary authority. Each summary already pointed to supporting authority. All summaries of the law carry the risk that, in summarizing authority, something will be lost. We've developed additional ways to try and mitigate that risk.

We'd rather take our rules down for a while than risk giving you a summary that might be subtly misleading. We're building Core Legal Rules with enhanced verification and plan to make it public again well prior to the next administration of the MBE exam on February 24, 2027.
